Originally from Sioux City, Iowa, Kim Johnson discovered her love for the
creative process at a young age. From her home now in Scottsdale, Arizona, Kim
continues to nurture her natural talent with watercolors to convey the complex colors and
fragile moods of her subjects. Through the guidance of her early mentors –
George Zien, Diane Maxey, Bill Lundquist, Charles Reid and Ted Nuttall – Kim
has developed and enriched her style of capturing the essence of her subjects.
Her award winning work is enjoyed by both private collectors and corporate
offices.
